Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a safety pin and clip. Now, safety pins and clips can be used for a variety of applications. They're great for equipment, trailers, couplers, pencils and so on. The pin diameter, that's the diameter of this pin right here, that's 3/8 of an inch. It comes with a chain lanyard so you don't misplace or lose the pin. And when it comes to the construction, we're looking at carbon steel.

So it's very strong and durable. It has a zinc plated finish to resist rusting corrosion.A few measurements I wanna go over with you real quick. The usable pin length is taken from the edge of clip, the inner edge of the clip to the inside edge of the base right there. And that gives us a usable pin length of 2 1/4 inches. Now, the overall length from the end of the pin to the opposite end is about 3 1/16.

And then I also took a measurement from the top of the pin to the bottom of the clip. And that space right here gives a measurement of about 1 3/4 inches.That's gonna do it for today's look at the safety pin and clip. Again, this pin has a diameter of 3/8 of an inch.
